Fall Competition Teams and Groups

Fall Program - More Information

Magellan Science hosts several robotic teams that participate in the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) challenge. FLL is a team based challenge that teaches robotic design, construction, engineering, programming and scientific research.  Each team builds a single autonomous (self-guided) robot that performs tasks to earn points. Our teams participate in a state and international level competition. In addition to the robotic performance, students are judged on technical knowledge, teamwork, and their solution to that season's themed challenge.

In addition to competitive teams, Magellan Science hosts recreational groups for students that are more interested in an individual activity than competition. Students have a chance to work on the same competition as their team counterparts, but work individually to perform competition tasks and missions.
